Male Piping Plover on Toronto Islands on 10 June 2015 - Very sad news,  the nest was inundated and destroyed by a huge storm overnight on 22-23 June. Adults are OK.

New Camera

As of May 2015, I'm using the Nikon p900 83 x zoom. This camera is replacing digiscoping for me. It's fantastic.

 

Digiscoping

Most earlier photos were digiscoped with a Swarovski scope and spice jar lid adapter. My latest scope is the Swarovski ATM 80 HD
