California Gull at Niagara

California Gull (top right) in third basic (winter) plumage with two Herring Gulls. Note slightly darker mantle than the two Herring Gulls. Photo location is about 400 metres south of Sir Adam Beck lookout on the Canadian side of the Niagara River. 21 November 2009.

 

It has greenish-grey legs and a dark eye. 21 November 2009.
