Snowy Owl continues at Frenchman's Bay

With ample food supply, the Snowy Owl continues at Frenchman's Bay in Pickering. At a safe distance, Ron Pittaway and I watched it feeding on a duck. Then it flew to the top of a pole where it wiped its bill and looked around to check nearby ducks. Canada Geese flew over it from the bay to Lake Ontario. The bay was frozen over except around the channel and a few open leads on the east side. 17 January 2020.
