New Year's Day 2003, Kevin McLaughlin
and I birded the Toronto Waterfront. On the wall at Sunnyside was
this adult California Gull. I just bought my first digital camera
and digiscoped for the first time. This was my introduction to
digiscoping.
California Gull left compared to
Ring-billed Gull - larger, dark eye, red spot and black mark on
bill, darker mantle, also has yellow legs. 1 January 2003.
