Many thousands of Bonaparte's Gulls and
other gulls were on the Niagara River below the Falls on 22 November
2015. A spectacular sight, Betsy D'Anna, Dean DiTommaso and I
thought the numbers this year were very high.
We think Emerald
Shiners (minnows/bait fish) are abundant in the Niagara River,
especially from below the Falls to Adam Beck and looking north from
there, because there are masses of feeding gulls.
