Black-bellied Plover numbers increased
throughout May. They rested at Hillman Marsh and on nearby flooded
fields where there were counts of hundreds and in some cases such as
east of Wheatley, several thousands.17 May 2018. |

The OFO Shorebird Celebration was well
attended every day except Mondays during the Festival of Birds. We
thank all the OFO volunteers and all participants. It was a great
