Long-billed Dowitcher at Hillman Shorebird Cell

This adult Long-billed Dowitcher in breeding plumage was at Hillman Marsh Shorebird Cell near Point Pelee on 17 May 2009.

 

On Long-billed Dowitcher, the cinnamon extends to the undertail coverts and it is heavily spotted on the neck and barred on the sides.

 

Long-billed Dowitcher is heavily spotted across the neck.
