Gulls in Barrie, Ontario - page 1

Many Bonaparte's Gulls at the Barrie Town Marina on 15 November 2015. They had been feeding on an abundance of Emerald Shiners.

Banded adult Great Black-backed Gull (OR5) on Lake Simcoe at Minet's Point in Barrie on 15 November 2015. It was first reported in Barrie on 16 October 2011. Thanks to Barbara Taylor and Simcoe Nature Board for this information via Bill Clark. "It was banded on May 20, 2011 at Appledore Island, Isle of Shoals, Maine. 0R5 was a nesting adult at the time of banding (four+ years of age) and thus is part of the Gulls of Appledore long-term research project started in 2005."
