Blue-footed Boobies breed on the Pearl Islands in Panama. We sailed around the rocky islands Pacheca and Pachequita, which are important breeding areas for Blue-footed and Brown Boobies, Magnificent Frigatebirds, Brown Pelicans and more. We did not land. 19 February 2017.

This young still flightless Brown Booby was on a rocky offshore island near Campanario Biological Station on the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica on 20 February 2017. Brown Boobies also were nesting on the Pearl Islands,
